  • I'd tinker with Leon anytime, anyplace.

  • Sing it with a feeling. I have been looking for a clean copy of this song for about 30 years. Nice to hear it in a cleaner version than my old used 33 1/3 rd LP. Thanks for posting this.

  • @judecreek2 Oh, yes, oh yes.

  • @MalThorgan don't listen to it then. we who adore him are satisfied with his version.

  • Oh my God. How I love this man. The slide show is awesome. Thanks!

  • I don't understand how anyone could talk shit about Leon. Obviously they they just don't get "it"..... thank you Leon for everything you have done for all of us...

  • Sorry to offend the die hard Leon fans - but I've just come to this version after listening to the powerful & emotive Bob Seeger track off Smokin´ O.P.´S (released 1972).........and in comparison this almost sounds like Leon is taking the piss......however after listening a couple of times the musical innovation & characteristic Leon style starts to become infectious.

If Leon Russell was a carpenter he'd certainly build a weird & wonderful house that's for sure !

  • From what I know, Leon's use of breath on this song, as rhythm instrument preceded Michael jackson's by about 20 years. I love this song and I love Leon.

  • @VictorNYC clueless twat

  • he does a great job and this would probably please the late Mr. Tim Hardin may he rest in peace. great artists respect other great artists and both of those gentlemen fit that description to a T. and a L. Tim Hardin and Leon Russell. For duos, you can't beat The Hunters doin this song. They'd make Johnny and June proud, may they rest in peace.

  • yes he rolled over and said thank you!!!!!
