E funk with harmonics (E7#9) from playbassnow.com

Finger funk line with the chord E7#9 as harmonics.
People apparantly have a hard time understanding the structure of this chord soo.
Its a dominant 7 type of chord with the basic chordnotes
root (1)
major third (3)
perfect fifth (5)
flat seventh (b7)
augmented 9th (#9)
The confusing thing for many non theory strong musicians is that the #9 is the same note as a minor third (b3), but we always build chords in thirds and add the number higher(1,3,5,7,9,11,13)
therefore this chord is spelled 1,3,5,b7,#9. Of course notes are sometimes omitted/switched around for practical/voicing purposes - the fifth is often omitted since its very neutral in timbre. And i could go on...;-)
And to those of you this is rocket science - dont argue, get a theory book.
Some countries have different ways of writing ie # can also be +.
This specific voicing with harmonics is from top (Gstr) #9 (5fret),(Dstr) b7 (5fret), (Astr) 1 (3fret) and (Estr) 3 (4fret)

If i read notes i always write on them if its G or A or C or A#. And then i watch on that letter it's easier to read and learn. Notes i am using only for rhythm
