The Tick Intro (1994)

The Tick: The Animated Series is an American animated television series adaptation of the New England Comics superhero, The Tick. The series debuted September 10, 1994 on the Fox network's Fox Kids block and was responsible for introducing the satirical comic book character to a mainstream audience. Lasting three successful seasons, the final episode aired on November 27, 1996. Since then, The Tick has been syndicated by various networks, further increasing the show's cult following, and has been released on both VHS and DVD. A live-action series was created in 2001.

@Gos2 I think this was more an adult oriented cartoon anyway. It would take a pretty sophisticated kid to get the jokes (which were often the actual characters themselves). I think I watched it when it first came out and I was already in college then. It was hilarious to me simply because of the way it spoofed all the stuff I liked as a kid. And there is a lot of play on words and puns that kids don't pick up on until they get older. Like the Muppets, but even sillier!
