CENTRALVALLEYFOOTBALL.COM — Although my experience in prep sports may not be as extensive as others, in the 5+ years I've covered high school football, I've never seen a HS quarterback pick apart an opposing team so effortless in a championship game as Tyler Bray did to Taft. The future Volunteer completed 19-of-23 passes for 256 yards, five touchdowns and just one interception. Despite limited acceleration (to put it nicely), he showed a lot of poise, awareness, footwork and mobility to avoid the sack and make the right read.

  • this guy is ammazing

go vols and boo lane kiffin

  • @araiford33 hes not looking at receivers hes looking at safties . thats what made him so attractive to recruiters just before tennessee got him because they realized what he was doing. One problem that remained is that his league did not offer the highest caliber of skilled athletes.

  • the next manning

  • @schulz3288 Oh I see. I think we'll end up putting him in early in the season after we Oregon and FL. We'll probably be looking for something to spark us by then.

  • @araiford33 I think he's looking at the safeties? I thought the same thing at first. Can't wait to cheer him on in Knoxville!!

  • Hes got a Jay Cutler type throwing motion, good get the Vols!!

  • He needs some help on footwork. Using those tip-toe strides in his drops will get him eaten in the sec. But with a weight program and Chaney working on his drops.... Oh boy Gov Vols.
