@agnux Humans have been using anaerobic digestion for centuries. More than 3,000 years, biogas was used to heat water for bathing in Assyria. The biogas from sewage sludge was also used as fuel in cars in Germany in the 1950's. Today, biogas is used worldwide, especially in developing countries like India, China and Costa Rica.
