It's certainly louder, but only under load. While idling or cruising, it doesn't make much more noise.
But when it's warming up in the cold, for instance, it's noticeably louder than it was stock.
Not as loud as my old 780 with a straight pipe, but still louder. Ditching the resonator would probably make it louder, but I don't like drawing too much attention to myself.
