Here is a short video about my NES arcade cabinet that was sold, I believe, at Toys R Us in the 80's or early 90's.

I forgot to mention this in the video. The machine is around the same size as a old arcade machine ie Pac-Man or Galaga.

  • I considered painting my cab white but thought that it wouldn't look good over time. What are your thoughts on this?

  • @BaldarkParadul I think mine looks decent white with red trim. It kinda reminds me of a Famicom. I have though about doing a collage of NES characters on both sides. I think that would look pretty ballin.

  • Its called a Pro-Play Home Arcade and was sold only through Toys-R-Us for a limited time. They also made a Sega version of it, but I have never actually seen one in person.

I have one of these myself, but it far worse condition. I'm missing the front panel and the plexiglass screen plus all of the stickers(which you are missing aswell).

  • @pceslayer

Thanks for the info! I didnt know it had stickers or a plexiglass screen protector. Do you have pics of one in perfect condition?

  • dumb idea people need to see there pLYER CONTROLLER TO SEE WHERES THE A AND B REMOVE THAT GAMEBOARD (DUMB)

  • @jacksonutton

It is removeable. That is just the Tecmo Superbowl handguard where you cant see what plays are being picked out of the corner of your eye.

  • Used to own one of these. Sold it years ago and wish I still had it now.

  • I don't know if you got any negative comments, but I just have to say, great video!

I didn't even know those cabinets existed. I guess you really DO learn something new everyday. LOL Great idea on the cheat guard as well.

    Thanks for sharing this video!

  • how big is the screen

  • @pceslayer well then i will have to post pics of them because I this same one as this guy has and a snes and genesis version of this

  • @rozzy523 afaik they never released a pro-play for snes or genesis. The company Eclectic Products went belly up.

  • @pceslayer I have 3 versions of this. The Nintendo nes, Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis

  • @kevo53033 Are you using sanwa parts?

  • Did yours always have the Red T-molding? I think the sega one was Black/Red...
