In Memory of Granpa Bill

Granpa was probably Tyner High School's biggest and most dedicated fan. I can remember twirling on that field during half-time over 20 years ago with him standing on the fence or sidelines. He left us to go to a better place this week- he is in heaven now with all the other football fans! This video was taken at his and Sylvia's house by the high school on the night of what I would like to call his "celebration of life"- family and friends together eating and sharing memories. As 7pm came around we looked outside to see the enitire Tyner Football team walking down his street- helmets high and hearts heavy. To give him one last good-bye! Tyner Rams and Bill Champion what a memory :)
