Matches and Matrimony: Mr. Darcy Edition (Part 8): An Unwanted Proposal

Part 8 of 15, of a video playthrough for Matches and Matrimony: A Pride and Prejudice Tale, in which Elizabeth gets the special ending with Mr. Darcy.

In this video, Elizabeth is set to leave Hunsford, when she goes for a walk and speaks with Colonel Fitzwilliam. The Colonel reveals that Mr. Darcy is behind the break-up between Mr. Bingley and Elizabeth's sister Jane. This shocks Elizabeth. Why does Mr. Darcy have strong objections to Jane, and what business of it is his if Mr. Bingley and Jane have great affection for each other?

Elizabeth fakes sick so she can be alone and read letters from Jane, in order to determine the truth of the report about Mr. Darcy. The man himself appears, and he professes a great love for Elizabeth. Infuriated by Mr. Darcy's treatment of her sister, Elizabeth rejects the marriage proposal. Further, Elizabeth accuses Darcy of being behind Mr. Wickeby's woes. Mr. Darcy is quite shocked by the furious diatribe pouring forth from the mouth of Elizabeth, and he does his best to leave before his temper gets the better of him.

(We also see the ending if Elizabeth accepts the marriage proposal.)

It's funny to watch/listen to this when you've seen the movies/series and read the book. Cuz I love your reactions, for example about Jane. That Mr. Darcy said to Mr. Bingley to get out from the town. xD
