@bazzamataz72 are you fucking stupid? or are you just a troll? it went on until 1969. dickhead. I'm not even aboriginal. maybe you should listen to "took the children away" by archie roach. don't seem so good now?
-
@lollipopmeadows dont believe the bullshit mate thats a load of crap dont be so fucking naive there wernt that many around 200 years ago :). they were put into good homes and given and education. it was 200 years ago fucking get over it and get on with it and stop feelling sorry for yourselfs your sending australian broke
-
@bazzamataz72 half a dozen? there were around 100,000 KIDS taken from there families.. they actually were being 'looked after' and the only reason they were taken was because they were half white. they were abused in the foster homes, and put into forced labour. these are KIDS we're talking about. do you know a majority of aboriginal people in jail, addicted to drugs and alcohol, or homeless are part of the stolen generation? your just an ignorant asshole.
-
you idiots wake up there were only about a half a dozen children taken from thier parents and it was dont to give those children a chance because they wernt being looked aftter, and nothing has changed. Kevin rudd was making that speech for Kevin Rudd hes a sanctomonious fucking snake
-
fuck rudds a fairy
-
@FlightRiley its about feeling sorry for the pain that an entire race had to live with, not semantical variable like who did it when
-
History was made on this day - Australia; the first country to say, quite simply, 'Sorry' for all of our wrong-doings in the past. One word - Yet it means so much to quite literally thousands indiginous families. Broken by the will of a Racist. I cannot comprehend what it must have felt like for everyone Aboriginal watching. It takes love to say 'Sorry' to a friend - It takes courage and genuine sorryness to say 'Sorry' to an entire generation, on behalf of an entire nation.
Awesome, Rudd. This is truly a remarkable day for the entire nation and every Australian.
Thank you for the upload :)

This is not a case of "someone else's actions". It is the same parliament now as then. This is not a man saying sorry for the wrongs of his grandfather. This is a government saying sorry for the wrongs of the parliament.
