Garza is bugged at "Secure the Power Station" (Killzone 2)

I was just playing Killzone 2 and I'm currently at this checkpoint: "Secure the Power Station" -
when Dante Garza suddenly is bugged! The problem is this happens when Garza is supposed to give my a lift to the level above.

I tried to shoot him - he never died. I thought if I kill him, I could resurrect him later and maybe he wouldn't be bugged anymore. That didn't work.

But I went to the menu and restarted to the last checkpoint and now it works.

But still...
