I've read the guides and the wiki but I still dont understand how these work, is the game just programmed to make a 5-clock in the circuit when you do a certain design, or does the design actually make a 5 clock with not gates?

@logos2600 A 5-clock is created by connecting an odd number of torches together in a loop (there is an infinite number of possible designs, but the clocks in the video are possibly the most compact ones that you can build).
