  • they should ask the SONY VEGAS people on how to edit because it is the best one I know of SONY period.

  • @Archie54able whatever gets the blood going is a good thing. just beware of limitations of NLE's. DV rebels guide goes through some issues. If your comfy with it and fills production needs, nothing wrong with it.

  • i have to use this for editing at college, i myself use after effects, so im going to have to learn how to wrok this too, confusing much? lol

  • you need nle to preview footage in real time, after effects and other compositing packages cant give you that. there is a book 'dv rebels guide', has a great method for doing an offline in the nle then using after effects for an online. a cheap method if you intend to go film output.

  • if u people find this difficult to use even after college, i dont even know why you are in this field.

  • @mad1forever Just read the 1550 page user guide that comes with it. Everything you need is in there.

  • @toolmanproductions That's not true, Avid is the best for a reason. It's the quickest way to your goal.

  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • this ins't the kind of AVID that was in my mind, it is in middle and high schools, ring a bell anyone??

  • very good tutorial, i need one to learn to cut and modify in the timeline instead, i am searching for it

  • @aberdudeify007 You just have to shoot on a green screen, if im understanding what you want to do correctly. Than you can remove the green area from behind your character and put them in your scene
