On June 4, 2010, SpaceX launched its first Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral. This rocket will eventually be used launch cargo and supplies to the International Space Station, launch heavy satellites, and maybe even astronauts.

  • If they can launch things a lot cheaper now they should try to start a Space Base Solar Power system now

  • @Avery901 Maybe California will use SpaceX to send up their's in 2016. Or wait until SpaceX's Falcon 9 Heavy version comes out (it will be able to launch more into orbit than the Space Shuttle).
