Her Story: While studying public health, Crystal was awestruck to learn how many people in the black community were affected by HIV/AIDS. Today, through the South Carolina HIV/AIDS Council, she works to stem the spread of this epidemic by encouraging faith leaders to get educated and share the need for awareness with their congregation.
