In this vid I show how I remove the lids from beer and soda cans to make pots for my alcohol stoves. I've also included some pictures that Dennis from NJ4X4FEVER2 sent to me. To me it looks like he uses a side cutter can opener that cuts into the can beneath the lid. That's a very interesting cover he makes with the top from another Heineken can. Sadly I don't have 24 oz Heinekens around here so I have to make the pot and the lid from the same can. In this vid I also show how I use the lid from a Lifesaver tart can as a secure lid for my pot.
Another good video on this topic is from Jason (xsplosive1975). The vid is called "12 oz heineken lid remover". Be sure to watch it.
Note: I apologize to those that think my attempt at humor was crude. I did not mean to offend anyone. Sorry.

  • Any chance you would sell a 24oz Heineken pot?

  • Sorry I can't get these anymore.

  • As usual I loved your video. Besides having big hands do you also have carpel tunnel, making it even worse.

    swaz

  • No, just big hands. Thankfully no carpel tunner since I spend so much time at a computer terminal. Mind if I ask why you thought I may have that?

  • Great video. Is your real name Wilford Brimley?

  • No. My real name is Hiram Cook. May I ask why you ask that? LOL

  • Couldn't u just turn the pot lid upside down when packing? When you put the magnet there and apoxy it didn't get to hot and melt did it. I couldn't find a Heineken can like that so I made a chef boyardee 40 oz can as a stove pot. I also order a zebra billy pot
