"When you think of what a woman can do - just think about Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers - Ginger did everything Fred did, except she did it backwards, and in high heels."

This is a message to every woman warrior out there, because that is the voting base of Shirley Bond and Christy Clark of the BC Liberal Party - we need a change in the RCMP now. Not only can we replace the RCMP using the resources we already have, we won't be forced into giving the RCMP a huge raise - with no moral or finacial accountability at all.

This video is an adaptation of many elements of Police Brutality 2011 - a documentary in production right now at Guerrilla Radio Design studios & Radio Free Canada. This 'Appeal to Sanity' comes as a result of the secret RCMP negotiations that are being forced through by the Harper Government, a contract that maintains the sexism and brutality that is the hallmark of our 'Traditional' police force.

This is an appeal to every woman warrior to contact both of our provincial leaders who hold the RCMP contract in their hands - and who can make a difference right now.

We need you to watch the video - and make sure that your MLA, MP or municipal leaders watches it and takes note of what we are doing about the problem.

Nobody is suggesting any solutions to police brutality in Canada - and this is a solution that can stick - for good.

And one note for both our Premier and Solicitor General: The Citizen oversight in Ontario that is supposed to deal with police brutality is one of the biggest wastes of cash, and a 'toothless tiger' that has not proven effective - at all. Just poll those left to die in the streets in Ontario, you will find out the truth (CBC - W5).

All material used under international fair usage guidelines. Complete credits to come in Pt II.

Note: we have 11 minutes of screen shots, over 100 different cases of brutality, violence against women, and corruption gathered in the last Nine Months - and have been tracking 100's of cases of police brutality inflicted by the RCMP themselves - and they do nothing to fix the problem - historically or recently.

If you had an abusive, destructive and irresponsible man in your life... would you just keep crawling back until he killed you?

Because in this case - we literally can just not sign the contract...

And get on with working on hope, instead of hoping it works.

The ball is in the womans court now, let's see what happens.

  • Once again - I have to stop and thank everyone for the wave of positive comments and shares we are getting on this video. We worked really hard on the whole movement towards a logical and responsible police force - so many thanks have to go to the whole team for putting this together.

Yes - and to make it public - we have two more videos already nearing completion - so stay tuned. We are getting close to a real solution to all this nonsense - so there's much more to come.

  • @ MrLeafs007 - Wow, really?

I'm impressed, someone trying to relate this to a 'conspiracy theory'.... when it's just statistics and facts. You know you are succeeding when the irrational have to shout you down - so we will take this as a vote of confidence.

I think it must have hit it too close to the mark here... more to come.

  • I understand - we'll work on that for sure.

  • Thanks for sure - we're really working hard here - I hope they're listening...

  • the police are just a business they "protect" us from our money!!!

  • It's abhorent to see Police Brutality and all this happening in our country. I remember when they were referred to as "Peace Officers", and nowadays, our police being called "Peace Officers" doesn't fit. Ever since Robert Dziekański's untimely death at the hands of those who serve and protect us, it's even hard to drive by a police car without getting a sick feeling in my stomach from all this stuff, and just imagine what is happening that we don't know of.

  • Thanks for sharing! Any organization with power - RCMP, independent policing body, etc - needs to be transparent and accountable to the public so that power cannot be abused. Individuals that commit injustices should be disciplined appropriately - not merely "suspended with pay" or other lenient reaction. I'd fully support stiffer hiring standards for these positions - in this economy there is no excuse for not having the best person for the job, not someone that will abuse their power.

  • IM NOT SUPRISED RCMP IN B.C. ALONE ARE A BUNCH OF RACISTS, RAPISTS, MURDERERS, I WOULDNT TRUST THEM ONE BIT WHEN IS JUSTICE GONNA HAPPEN? HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOMETHING TO BE DONE?!!! WHEN ARE WE GONNA BE ABLE TO TRUST THESE PEOPLE THAT CALL THEMSELVES R.C.M.P!? I THOUGHT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO RESPECT AND PROTECT US? AND ACCOUNTABILITY?

  • More was mentioned on CBC news tonight

  • Who what a waste of 16 + minutes. I bet you think man never walked on the moon either.
