Michael Connelly has always tried to give his readers bonus material with each new novel. Short stories, lost chapters, and visual adaptations. This time we have something new. A short film called "Conflict of Interest," which features the exploits of FBI Agent Rachel Walling leading up to the point she enters the story of THE SCARECROW. Don't worry, there are no spoilers here. The story runs parallel to THE SCARECROW. The case Rachel is working comes very close to the story Jack McEvoy is chasing. Written by Michael Connelly, the film is now available in three chapters.

Just finished reading "Scarecrow". Loved the characters and the premise. Absolutely excellent novel as always from Connelly. Fine prequel. Film Rachel seems a bit young since she's been in the FBI well over a dozen years.
Great ending Michael!!! I am literally turning the PC off now to start the scarecrow! looking forward to it! Read all of your novels and am expecting this to be the best yet ;-)
Can't wait to read the book! I've read nearly all of Michael Connelly's books which I find along with Stephen White as two of the best crime writers ever! They seem like excellent material to be made into movies so have they been 'cause I'm not aware of any except an early one with Clint Eastwood?
