Wow, I just bought a new one of these and should get it next week, hope I don't have these same issues. I bought it from High Voltage and they claim to have very good reviews on this bird. I have many other types including a Blade 400, Heli-Max AXE CP's (2) and several coaxial birds.

care to share what you're flying now? one thing that alot of people dont realize is that when you're first starting out with heli's is that bigger is better... they're alot more stable in the air. you're able to fly on windier days and such

The tail wagging is because you have the gyro gain set too high ....

Hi there, I'm also the proud owner of one of these "fine" pieces of engineering X-D My Wasp wants to spin anti-clockwise no matter how much right trim I put into it, how did you get yours to stay straight? Does the speed of the main rotor have to be pretty high for the tail to kick in properly? Thx for any help!
it almost sounds like the rpms of the tail rotor are EXTREMELY high.... but if that were the case that thing would be spinning erratically out of control. the wagging tail is caused by the gain on your gyro being set to high... set it at 50% and add a little at a time until the tail stays perfectly still. if its a head hold gyro it wont go from rate to head hold until the gain is set at over 50% hope that helps. ive been eyeballing one of those little heli's for some time now how do you like it?

I guess if you really know what your doing and have alot of patience they aren't to bad. They have alot of "big heli" features. I got rid of mine tho. Just wasn't what I should have picked for a first Heli. Tho I did just about have it dialed in (I think) before I got rid of it.
