  • Could Gordon Brewer be any more biased!? He interviews like an opposition leader. Alex Salmond does well to keep his cool and answer non-reliant questions posed by this amateur journalist.

  • @FireEyedMaidOfWar LOL, and im afraid to inform you that the auld alliance did absolutely nothing for Scotland other than France using the Scots as cannon fodder sending countless Scots to their deaths just to try and distract England from gaining more territory in france. Show me just 3 times where the auld alliance ever did anything for Scotland. Youl be searching until your dying day.

  • Alex Salmond does actually look like a salmon I was viewing in Tescos today. It was a sad old grey beast, with sagging jowls sat in a really cold place. I wasn't buying what it was selling though, it was a bit too slippery and greasy for my liking.

  • @haggisman11 Youtube Law. If an SNP'er decries a Unionist, 7 /10 it usually means they are a Celt(ic) suppurter with all the baggage that enttails.

  • Wha for Scotland's King and Law, Freedom's sword will strongly draw, Free-man stand, or free-man fa'? Let him follow me!

By oppression's woes and pains! By your sons in servile chains! We will drain our dearest veins, But they shall be free!

Lay the proud usurpers low! Tyrants fall in every foe! Liberty's in every blow! Let us do, or die!

  • Scots, wha hae wi' Wallace bled, Scots, wham Bruce has aften led, Welcome to your gory bed, Or to victorie.

Now's the day, and now's the hour; See the front of battle lour; See approach proud Edward's power - Chains and slaverie!

Wha will be a traitor's knave? Wha can fill a coward's grave? Wha's sae base as be a slave? Let him turn and flee!

  • @cosmictimes: While most people know Robert the Bruce from the great Scottish national epic, called the Bruce, written by John Barbour and of course from the poems of Robert Burns; and in order to illustrate this I will invoke a poem of Burns at once (which uses the Scottish National Party as their anthem, while continuing their unrelenting struggle in freeing their fatherland from the English oppression):
