This car really does rule. Last of the "Proper" turbos. Don't get me wrong, liquid cooled turbos have been great (996, 997), but the sound of an air cooled twin turbo Porsche, is truly one of motorings best sounds.

Sold my Arena Red 993 (dunno why!!) a few months ago...one of the worse days of my life!!! But just bought a Midnight Blue 993 TT with 29k miles!!! Ohh man !!! Awesome in every way... Even after 15 years. I will post video soon.

I know! In Canada they cost almost $100k!!! Which is almost as much as a 997.2 GT3 RS!!!!!

Was about to purchase a 997 turbo 2yrs ago and drove a 993 turbo. The 997 was a beautiful car and faster but the experience was numb compared to the 993. So I subsequently purchased a 993 tt with 45k miles and had the engine rebuilt with upgraded turbos, pistons clutch, varioram plenum, not plastic etc and now has 580hp @ 1 bar! Much faster and more responsive then the 997 and a much better driving experience, Also a coil-over suspension! Look forward to tracking it

I can still remember the first time I saw the 993 Turbo. I couldn't believe somebody was driving a silver one, down the twisty road I wanted to drive my dream car on.
In a town with no exotic cars; somebody from out of town or someones relative had to ruin my dream of driving this car down there first....guess I'll have to settle for "second". I'd be happy with that. I love this car.
