First Amendment Art Project

There is a wide gap in the understanding of what constitutes free speech and expression and how it must be protected. One's freedom of expression depends on what he or she will stand up for or give away. Inspired by the work of Mark Dice, this film takes an artistic look at the importance of First Amendment to the Constitution.

Hi, thanks for commenting. I appreciate your comment, but I don't think it's a problem unique to any one university. Yes, loads of people are ignorant of the First Amendment. They are hungry to do the right thing, they are just ignorant of what to do.

@jonson771 I was surprised how many people signed in the short time I filmed, but there were many people who thought I was a nut and refused to sign. If memory serves, I close to 150 signatures in the time I was filming. About 1/7 of the people that took interest in the petition declined to sign. You can see in the video that I ran through the provisions of the amendment as the person signed, even if they claimed they knew about it. I used the opportunity to educate myself and others.

I take offense when foreigners comment that Americans are fucking idiots! I shouldn't take those insults so personally, however, this video alone makes me understand their rationale behind those comments. This is mortifying to say the least and should send shivers up any freedom loving person's spine. I just can't believe my eyes...These motherfucking moronic self serving brain dead cretins.....I fear for my safety now.....I can't believe this.....!! I would have torn the petition up!
