4 months of hard work to make my blog a success......but after 3 months my traffic seems stagnent at 200 unique visitors a month.....but i love what i do......the question is in 2years time i need to show my Dad that doing something online actually helps to make a decent income.. atleast 700 dollars a month.....thats my target.....so Lisa what do you suggest........i am the guy who asked you about the weebly to wordpress thing in FB...love ya..we both are in the same field...so hope u inderstand

@rahul247rocks It's not uncommon to hit a plateau. Just keep writing and searching for unique ways to present your content. Try different angles with social media marketing. Write guest blog posts for other related blogs. Don't give up.

Lisa, you are right. my passions oddly enough include teaching but not in the traditional school stance. I have discovered that I could teach people more efficiently in music through the web. I also like writing books, so I should focus on that rather than being constantly frustrated by Ghostwriting gigs that always go sour when I'm not writing what I want. I should focus on these things rather than ghostwriting.

pleaseee help me out with this question, i never seem to get this answer....ok if we install WordPress into our web hoster we can create unlimited number of Domains through wordpress by paying just the monthly web hosting fee, then why some people make multiple websites through different companies and pay 30dollars yearly for every website they have which sums up to a lot of cash, instead of using wordpress and having unlimited domains but just paying the monthly Hosting charge? pls reply

@Marashor Thank you so much for the compliment. Having thick skin on YouTube is a must. I'm not sure I would have responded that calmly 3 years ago. lol Sometimes you have to say whoooo-saaah and keep it positive. :) Life's too short for all that negativity.

While I understand exactly where the commenter (Mastersun88) was coming from, it could have easily gotten someone without a thick skin out of character. Hey Lisa, congrats on your success. I'm a fellow SBI'er and unfortunately for me I'm on an all time motivational low. My site is 3.5 years old and i've moved ads, changed design and keywords too many times to count (and you know what that's like on an SBI site - I have over 1100 pages to amend!). I do get around 2000 uniques a day, but over half come from image searches. However I just don't earn much money and I really do mean not a lot. I guess I need to rethink my strategy or something :-(

Until I started my most recent blog, I would start blogging and then either get bored or run out of ideas to blog about.

I decided that not only having a new blog on something that I like to talk about (which is mental illness), but I added a feedback section so that people can send suggestions for me to help create content.

I think that having a background in mental illness (as I have one) will help me be more successful on my current blog.
