u shuld try giving them a call the phone lines have been on around most parts of the island since the day of the tsunami...if they r ur friends shuldnt u have their numbers?most of ur friends live around the areas which wernt affected...wat gets me is how u didnt know about Luana.

Luana and I haven't talked-talked in several months, just an email every once in awhile. Now I understand why. In one sense I'm very sad to have learned about her accident via YouTube, but on the other hand I'm glad to know finally.

Im not sure if you know this but Luana passed away a couple of months ago...

Oh wow Jonah is a good friend of mine, he DJ's and Magic 98.1 FM right? Helped him while he was on air once. And Tim and his family go to my church back in Samoa. I hope all is well with them...sorry I don't have any contact details for ya...still trying to get a hold of a few people back home myself. I'm trying to save up to fly over soon, and if all goes well, I'll tell Tim and Jonah you're looking for them if I find them.

Hi melissa, its roda. I just sent u an email but since this post was from a while ago i thut id post a few of the main details here aswell. I was surprised to read ur message in the pacific tsunami "galu afi" book and came online straight away to message u. Im sorry but i never knew u wer looking for us. We r all ok. :) i was in nz at the time n nell n tim wer tucked away on the other side of the island. Luana had passed away in a car accident the year b4.

Ugh, sorry for the 6 month late one, I just got used to the whole youtube thing. Anyhoo, I managed to go to Samoa, and was pleased to find Jonah and Tim were fine. Jonah hasn't changed a bit...lol.

Samoa has really recovered well...so proud of everyone. Anyway, I hope you found the rest of your friends. Take it easy.
