@arc1342 Yeah this is a pretty awesome game but not if your impatient. If you dont like really long games I would probably go with Rise of Nations or something.

@NomRavr Immortals are one of the best units in the game because their promotion stays when you upgrade them, and it is unique. Hoplites may be stronger but upgrade them to pikeman and past that they gain nothing. Having rifleman with +1 heal per turn and 100% vs mounted units is game-breaking

@black213lol They used to be insane, now in the latest patch they nerfed golden ages kingdom to come, although that affects all Civs, non more than Persia...

@black213lol I dont know, immortals give you the dominate powers vs the barbarians , the market give you 2+ happines whice is always good except that youg et it abit late. in a golden area with the 50% wonder you can start to steamroll, kinda like it but you need to plan ahead to make persia usefull

I was the biggest super power(japan), once I reach asia, the Persian had conquered 4 other players, taking all of Asia, middle east, some Europe, and starting in Africa. Since i was in the future stage and they were only in the WW2 stage. I found a spot of land and posted a military base to keep their units occupied. 7 modern tanks, 2 carriers(6 jets), 3 mobile infantry, 3 artillery, 2 battleships, 2 destroyers, 1 submarine , 1 nuke in a nuclear 1 submarine. there entire army destroyed!
