A tribute to the late Mrs Helen Shepherd

This is a re-recording of this tune I was asked to compose 20 + years ago.
I was never that keen on the version I uploaded a few months ago.
It was composed to be played as a feature tune for the Highland accordion & fiddle clubs' annual concert played by the guest band of the evening.
I named it after the vice chairmans mother who had passed away shortly before that event.

Thanks Ray, this tune IS published by Dee-ay music in Forfar. Not sure which book it's on but it is in one of their collections

I've just heard this air - lovely! I knew Mrs Shepherd and stayed at her house on several occasions when visiting Inverness, I was always made to feel more than welcome there. Happy memories indeed! Well done Graham the tune is most befitting of a wonderful lady.
