I have one of these. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an excellent sounding mid sized combo. Great for old school tone or fantastic modern sound, like slapping. You can even get a great Jaco tone too, very versatile. Down side is, it's a bit under-powered. 200watts and 1-12" won't blow the walls down, BUT the DI is great ! I use it as my bass monitor on stage and let the FOH system do its job. Its just fine for practice and lower volume gigs.

I am wondering about the sound quality of the WorkingPro 700 head? Does it have good sub-bass to shake the stage or does it just muddy up the sound like it does on the SM-1500?

Man, I found one of these that is almost new for $225 on Craigslist. The guy bought it then decided he wanted to play drums. Problem is it's about 170 miles away and with gas prices it would add over $100 to the price to pick it up. :*-(
Still a good price overall but its just a tough thought to spend all that extra money on gas.

"blending and letting the houseman do his job with the sound". Boy Dave, you're a trusting soul LOL.

I don't play in a band but could possibly in the future at least jam with a band. I need an amp that will be perfect for use as a hobby in the house but be loud enough to handle maybe playing a small church. Any ideas? I am thinking this amp would be good. I have a Musicman Stingray 4 string.

My friend has this combo and he suggested it to me. It sounds amazing, but I was wondering if the 15 would be better.

While not the flashest of players this guy always speaks pearls of wisdom.

I was thinking about buying this amp or an Ampeg BA115 600W but I found out some bad stuff about the ampeg and some good about this amp so I'm buying the SWR
