Team DragonWave Goose Rescue

A Canada Goose with a broken wing (unable to fly south for the winter) is rescued from the cold Canadian climate. Since geese mate for life they stay together until the bitter end. In this case it would have meant certain death for both of them since they were both very weak from the cold and lack of food and water. Both geese are now recovering at the Wild Bird Care Center in Ottawa.

I just saw this. It is so beautiful.....and the ending was perfect!! I was afraid the uninjured mate may have been left!! We need so many more people like this!! Absolutely fantastic catch!!

Thank you team for caring! I am emotionally involved in this video. A Canadian goose at my local park has "angel wing". I live in Minnesota and winter is approaching. I called a Rehab center and they said they will put her down if I bring her in. The DNR said I cannot get a permit to keep her. I want to help her so bad.
