Lost and Found Season 1 Episode 15 Season Finale

Miley's P.O.V.

I woke up, and I was in a white bedroom, the same one as before, and I looked over to my left, and saw the digital clock read 3:45 AM. Wow, either that surgery was long, or I was just knocked out for a pretty long time. I looked over to my right, and I saw Denise sleeping on a pullout on sofa bed. I smiled. I looked up at the ceiling wide awake, before deciding to buzz in the nurse.
"Yes?"
"I'm awake now."
"Okay, we'll be right up."
The doctor and nurse came in about 5 minutes later.
"I'm happy to tell you that the surgery went great, and you'll be good as in a couple of weeks. There's a wrap placed around your torso, to cover up the stitches and to protect your ribs in the mean time. You should come back in about 4 weeks to remove the stitches. I should also let you know to change the wrap twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. Now, how are you feeling?"
"It hurts a lot when I try to sit up and move, and I'm feeling some pain right now, just by lying down."
"Alright, we're going to be prescribing you some painkillers."
I nodded. "Okay and when will I be able to go back to school?"
"Well, we want to keep you overnight and see how everything goes, and if you're fine by tomorrow, well technically today, by around 2ish, you'll be free to go."
I smiled weakly. "Thanks doc."
He smiled. "Anytime, now rest up."
I nodded and he left.
I looked up at the ceiling again, nowhere near sleep and I decided to make a phone call. I picked up the phone and dialed a number.
"Hello?"
"Hey, it's me."
"Hey Rae." Joe said.
I smiled, I loved hearing his voice. "I'm sorry if I woke you up, I just needed someone to talk to, and your mom is sleeping."
He chucked. "Most people are asleep at 3:45 in the morning, but not me."
I giggled. "Do I detect sarcasm?"
He laughed. "I learn only from the best."
I laughed.
"So how did the surgery good?"
"It went well. I'm just in a lot of pain, but with the help of painkillers, I'll be fine."
"That's good. So when are you getting out?"
"If everything is good by today at around 2ish, I'll be able to get out."
"So that means I'll be able to see you after school."
I smiled. "That would be nice."
"Yeah, and Frankie actually wants to have a dinner. And my dad and brothers wanted us to all have like a little family movie/game night. It'll be a lot of fun."
I smiled again. "I'll be there."
He yawned. "That's great."
I giggled. "Joe, I think I'm gonna let you go. You're tired, it's 3:50 in the morning now and I'm starting to get a little sleepy myself."
He chuckled. "I would argue with you, but I'm way too sleepy at the moment. See you tonight?"
I smiled. "Definitely."
"Alright, goodnight Rae."
"Goodnight Joe. Sweet dreams."
And with that we hung up. Sweet dreams indeed, dreams about sweet Joe.
