A McCain-Rice 2008 ticket would have won the US presidency by a landslide - winning 46 states. That's my prediction based on a 2008 poll of New York State voters which predicted a 21% swing to a McCain-Rice ticket against either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton compared to Bush-Cheney in 2004.

That Senator Clinton's own home state would have deserted her to vote for VP Rice just shows that Condi Rice on the ticket matters.
