Much better than the recorded or the 2001 Tour versions. Without the "latina like" original rhythm, the words take their full sense, their ful intensity.

really? i thought it was fantastic, i love to see different approaches to songs, it gives them a totally different feel, like this, very stripped down , raw and vulnerable, yes, exactly, there is so much vulnerability in this version, PJ holding that harp right against her heart. she looks so beautiful.

As fantastic as she is doing these songs solo, many of them could use the addition of a full backup band, especially this one which was almost verging on industrial.

This version made me feel very uneasy. I could almost feel the hackles rising on my neck. Scary stuff. And I'm sure that is about infanticide. So intense.
