  • This Video clip is the best among the few ones in showing how to originally cook Tom Kha Kai.

    Tom= soup

    Kha=galangal

    Kai= chicken

    So, when watching some clip telling using 'ginger', it surprised me a lot. Galangal is for this dish only not ginger. The taste would be dramatic different.

    But if you like to make it fusion food, it's alright. But I may name the dish 'Tom Khing Kai'. Khing means Ginger.

  • @durgaaa It's very different in its smell. Sorry I can't explain it more than this to make you touch how different it is.In many Thai curry and thai dishes, we use palm sugar and never put cane sugar to avoide ruining the real taste of them.

    More than that, please do aware to use the 'fresh' or the 'dried' one, This is important to keep the taste as it really be. eg. if you put 'dried' corriander instead of 'fresh' corriander, you will lower down its delicious taste. This Video clip is...
