Wonderful memories.Mum & Dad used to take me to the wrestling as a small child , here in Sydney ,Australia ."Dirty Dick " Rains & his "backbreaker" was my favourite.Thanks for showing this.

Thank you jarrett421! I've cried & watched this over & over. Dick Raines was my very very loved grandfather & today was his 100th birthday. He held several titles over the years & was the sweetest "bad guy" in the world.

Thanks so much for your comments, and happy birthday to Dick, may he rest in peace. You are one of many who have commented that footage I've posted of their relative (e.g., father, brother, uncle, grandfather, etc.) they had either never seen or not seen for many years. I've long felt that these athletes and their performances have been underrated and under-appreciated, and I've dedicated this site to posting some of the most exemplary examples of this art form.
