what is the diference between local forecast and local on the 8's?

@TheClassicRocker1971 Nothing. They just started calling it the "local on the 8s" when they implented the 8s to be the time slot that the local forecast aired which was back in the late 90s and it's just easier to say "local on the 8s" than "local forecast on the 8s".
