This is a particle fluid example created in Houdini that uses the new Waveform and Sculpted Particle Fluid tools. The splashes are generated from the interaction of the wave and the lighthouse with extra particles emitted based on the impact information.

  • Render time ? :p

  • That is amazing!

  • this looks great, although some of the particle effects seem to bee exxagerated

also the water going up next to the lighthouse seems not to disperse properly,

maybe he resolution of the solver was not high enough for that,

but wow, great shading, and very nice simulation!

  • @xenopeltismulticolor @JuniorProducer1996

search "massive Blender fluid simulation". Awesome stuff. This wouldn't be hard to do in blender at all - it is 99% skill (but ofcourse commercial products have big teams of skilled people working on it, and blender less so)

  • @xenopeltismulticolor

Its all in the skill and materials, Blender, Lightwave, and Maya can do the same, though im not sure how easy that would be.....

  • houdini has the best fluid simulation that i have seen

  • O.o

  • wow thats awesome!

  • would you mind sharing your settings for this animation ? I really need to do a scene like this one.. thanks.

  • for 14k+ USD it better
