Thanks FITUFES. Yep. A typo :-). I am aware of that.
The price signs in the hot-dog places call them pylsa, sold by the piece, like the Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur stand that I have eaten at since the early 1950's. BUT the big signs say pYlsur (I typed pIlsur) and I often consumed a few of them, so I used that. My family loves them and we get them sent over! You have to like them for their distinct flavor.
Youtube doesn't let me revise my typos once they are posted.
This cracked me up. One of the places I always have to go to in Reykjavik is the hot-dog stand downtown. Pilsur with everything on it, then get fries with cocktail sauce and an orange soda or Coke. That's great living
For anyone interested in correctness. I also said "hot-dog" too but the Icelandic word pysla actually means a "sausage".
