Genital mutilation of defenceless babies, done as a sick evil perverse ritual of a barbaric superstitious cult. How can these insane practises from the dark ages still exist?

I couldn't believe it when Bono appeared on "The Daily Show" and touted circumcision as one of a three-pronged strategy to prevent the spread of HIV. Being circumcised doesn't make you immune to HIV. It's like saying that if people aren't going to bother having safe sex, this will at least give them a fighting chance. Well, if you really value your life, you should take the time to put on a condom. Plus, the study didn't account for lack of safe-sex education among circumcised men.

It's clear that the conditions in Africa (frequent condomless sex with prostitutes) are not present in top industrial nations. Japan, Taiwan, UK, Germany, all Scandinavian countries are nearly free of circumcision yet all have lower HIV infection rates than the US.

Wait, babies are going to have sex?? WTF..they should make the decision when they become older, not as babies. Babies aren't supposed to have to worry about STDs/AIDS. It's their penis, their decision!

Circumcision is the most barbaric procedure EVER!!! Circumcised penis for me is the same as hand without fingers. I was freken out when i see first time in my life circumcised man, and it wasn't pleasant to me. I'm from the Europe and circumcised penis is very rare stuff here, and I feel sorry to american mutilated men.
