No motion capture of any kind was used. This was animated by hand and rendered in Poser 7. (a few years ago actually)
I orgionally made this when Daz3D released Aiko 4 to showoff what a great figure it was.
You can see a nude version of this animation in my (stimuli) galllery at Renderotica.com. You can also purchase this animated pose and many more for your own Poser and Daz Studio figures from the Renderotica store.

  • The "Pop" is right. The walk cycle creator in Poser is good but it lacks a little bit of subtlety. I've tried to adjust a few walk cycles that I created but nowhere near as good as BVH or mocap. Didn't expect it to be. I'll keep working on it and see what I can make happen. If not I'll but the SkaMotion high heel walk cycle. That looks great.

  • @marx7designs I cant stand the poser walk designer. I refuse to use it unless I want a good chuckle =P

  • good work. I'm looking for a realistic walk cycle for some runway animations i'm working on. I don't need so much "jiggle" as I want mine to look more realistic than anime exaggerated. Great work none the less.

  • @marx7designs runway models have a particular "pop" to their walk that would be hard to get right without motion capture.

I do sell walk cycles for some figures and they've sold pretty well. They're more of a basic walk than a runway walk though.

  • Dood. Im a girl and I LOVE your work. Love to death. You and Xameva are amazing <3

  • @OpheliasLullaby why thankya. If you have any ideas of an animation you'd like to see (either here or at renderotica) let me know.

  • That was actually really impressive. Very lifelike, but much sexier lol

  • @leezace I have several projects started. The question is, which one will quit fighting me long enough to get finished? =P

  • @MagicRealm3D yes thats because I sell this pose along with many others.

People can apply them to their own figures. =)
