  • ya i was up one night and seen a commercial about the banana plant, so i ordered a few.. idk if they were in the shipping box too long or what so i called and mailed me 2 more and now they are dieing on me.. geez what bust

  • What about the time it takes to grow? If there is a sickness developping what to use/technic to get rid of it? How to protect the bananas before some bats eat them on the plant...etc to sad, I have to search for another video more precise :(

  • And you enjoy them rofl (just kidding, here (in Costa Rica) theres many banana plants, I got like 7 in my backyard, but the stupid guard comes and steals my bananad -.- )

  • BANANA DREVESA niso samo za dekoracijo ampak dajejo tudi okusne sadeze...ene vrste so dobre tudi za hladne clime...lahko jih zacnete iz semencecev....

  • I had an musa basjoo overwintring but it died now in the spring..:O(..Shall try

    Musa sikkimensis this time.

  • Hey ya'll currently i am growing , musa basjoo, orinoco, dwarf cavendish, Red Kru and siam ruby. basjooisnt edible but The red kru, orinoco and cavendish are. i got them in Aug as 8-10 inch plants and now they are 3 feet each. I am going for a flower this Nov even if i have it in a big pot. They grow one leaf a week and yes each leaf or every two they get much bigger. I put in may my basjoo in the ground and by september it was 4.5 feet tall. with 3 pups. good luck everyone :)

  • @tomagotchii nope.....

    it takes like 2-3 years

  • I have 4 of this dwarf banana tree & I did not know that they grow this tall. I have one question to ask .What should I do with the offshoots that keeps on growing from the mother plant?

  • Those sure look alot like Musa acuminata that produce very tastey full size fruits. I have been growing Musa basjoo outdoors for ouver 20 years now. They will go easily through our west coast winters.

  • So if you feed them plant food banana will have super large leaves right? I can;t wait to see. I gave it plant food a week ago. There are new leaves shoots. I hope the leaves are prehistoric large like you said.
