On March 15, 2011 thousands of people converged ont he TN State Capitol to demand that several anti-worker bills before the legislature be stopped. Dozens of labor supporters filled the Commerce and Labor Committee with Tennesseans opposed to the destruction of labor standards in our state. Seven were arrested when they refused to leave the chamber.

  • I love your passion! This is our right as Americans!! However this is about huge debt and overspending -- if a few cuts are not made, lay-offs will occur and instead of cuts, you will possibly lose your job entirely. We need our fire-fighters, teachers, government workers, but we all have to cut our spending a little here and there, together, all of us.
