UPDATE: After contacting the team at the Crest Customer Service line (who were very helpful) I've found out I will be getting my dental visit paid for. I still don't recommend the product.
A quick recap of my horrible experience using Crest Pro Health Mouthwash. Who would have thought that a Crest product would stain my teeth brown, resulting in a costly dental visit to remove the stains. Do not use this product!
I started using this rinse and thought I was coming down with a cold or something. Then I realized this was occurring after each use of this product - my mouth would be numb for about 24 hours, tongue swollen, I lost sense of taste, my saliva thickened, I was nauseous, and my tongue turned brown. It was horrible, and the sad thing is you actually think you are having a medical problem but it is the frigging mouthwash!

They do have some small print on the back of the bottle that warns in a very general way, but why the heck would I look for a warning about staining teeth on a mouthwash that is all about keeping teeth healthy?!

Thanks for posting this Brad. I have had white teeth and no cavities for my entire life until using the Crest Pro-Health mouthwash. I switched from Plax because the Pro-Health had no alcohol. After only about a week of use my teeth look horrible, with brown stains in between along the gumline and even in patches along the top and front, especially on my bottom teeth.
What I'm most appalled about is that the FDA "investigated" this and found no problem!

@JerryifyMe I've been using Listerine Total Care as recommended by my dentist. Seems to be working fine so far, with no staining. If you've used the Crest Product, call them and let them know you're not satisfied with the product. They were very helpful when I called and even ended up compensating me for my dental visit. Good luck!
