The doughnuts on top of 14,115' Pikes Peak in Colorado are world famous. But that's another story. This is the story of one runner's quest to run to the top of Pikes Peak in search of bacon! With nothing more than a video camera the runner leaves Barr Camp which is halfway up the Barr Trail at an elevation of 10,200' and heads for the summit. During his 6 mile run to the top of Pikes Peak everyone he meets encourages him on his bacon quest. Rocks, clouds and snow drifts will not stop him! But the bacon he finds is not quite what he was expecting...

6 degrees (it looks chilly) or just 6 degrees of separation? Either way, great video! For a good cause AND great way to get a feel for the terrain if you are planning to head in the direction of up from Manitou Spirngs.

Very clever! I too am a Bacon Brothers fan and I was very excited to hear that they were planning to hike for this wonderful cause. Watching your video definitely helped me to see how difficult a hike it was! Congratulations to everyone!
