@bkw1971 Five hours is correct. I still use this method, but I've been switching between foiling and not foiling. Last week I loaded up my smoker with beef ribs and both of my Webers with pork ribs. I ran all five cookers for five hours without foiling them. Instead, I just sprayed them with apple juice. Turned out great.

We have an old charcoal type smoker which my dad converted to electric and I've been trying to watch videos on how to properly smoke ribs.. I definitely need to mess around with it and see if I can't learn a few things on smoked ribs.

I smoked my ribs over the weekend using your method and my Weber Smokey Mountain for the first time and they came out incredible. I did foil them but I will try just spraying them next time. Thanks again.
