  • @Wyrmshadow

Right you are! Which is why no one reads The Illiad, The Tempest, or War And Peace anymore.

  • Once we get a movie, Channing Tatum should play John Carter and Megan Fox should play Dejah Thoris.

  • @Wyrmshadow yes and what is enthralling for adults?

i suppose a man being utterly emotionally crushed when his wife is trapped in a situation in which she will be forced either to cannibalize her roomates or be canibalized herself

    is just too childish

the setting and the characters are not what makes things childish

you are an idiot and i hope you get herpes

  • RU kidding? For that time period, almost 'all' book cover art was lurid. ERB's books weren't the only ones with scantily clad heroes and heroines. And I'm old enough to remember reading some of these books from my granddad's library. LOL.

  • You dont even need to buy them since they are now public domain because Burrough's has been dead a long time. Im read them all on my phone atm.. But the stories of space pirates and heros and princesses are really for 13 year olds.. the style of the writing is not enthrawling for adults.. boys yes..

  • I fread the intire series and ITS AWESOME!!! wWorth buying.

  • maybe read some of edgar rice burroughs stories, for free, downloadable from gutenberg ... in google enter ... gutenberg author edgar rice burroughs ... a suggestion: read them in the very largest font size available, and you'll easily be able to read for hours ... perhaps, you might enjoy listening to his stories at the same time, for free ... well, if so, go to google, enter librivox org newcatalog and in the author box enter edgar rice burroughs

  • I would go see it. Not sure if it could be as good as the books, but I would love to see this on film

  • very cool

  • Hehehehahahahahahahahah:-D I think Tuvia is more:-D
