USA tries to woo muslim asian states ina bid to control the last strategic trade route Indian Ocean. Pakistan is a key strategic nation here moreso than India as Pakistan wields influence here and is making alliances with China in Indian Ocean this is a HUGE problem for USA and India therefore USA uses India as a tool but India are not doing a great job and digging a deeper hole in the Indian Ocean

note Sri Lnka is a good friend of Pakistan and India not to happy with it as it has approached China to build a port on its short - a naval port rejecting India and the USA who are working together to dominate the Indian Ocean
