My American accent in Spanish

MAKE IT GO AWAY PLEASE.

I'm teaching myself Spanish. I took it for two years in high school, but dropped it because I wasn't learning a single thing. It wasn't until I visited Mexico for two weeks that I actually started being able to converse. But my next goal is to be able to travel in a Latin American country alone, and that's really only safe if I don't sound like a foreigner. I know it's a stretch, but it's worth a try.


Also, yes I filmed this in the bathroom, so my family wouldn't bother me. Get over it.

te recomiendo que escuches música en español y las aprendas y las cantes hasta que te salgan iguales... para ayudarte a la pronunciacion y a la fluidez...

hum. i forgot it, take care about tenses.. we recognize (and we joke about that) about the way that americans try to use tenses. so be careful with that. and also with the genre of the articles.gringos are missed in that all the time :)

your accent is too gringo :/. Ithink si the equivalent of my speaking in english: too "robotish" XD. by the way try to hear an accent that you like and try to speak in that way. i dunno recomend chilean or argentinian. but peruvian, bolivian or colombian. venezuela accent is also interesting. (by the way im chilean, thats da reason XD)

Chile, argentina o pero son los países mas secanos al español :D obviamente latino te aconsejo busques en youtube a gente hablando pero se especifica por ejemplo: mmm chilenos hablando jajaja y aun que no lo creas algunos chilenos o argentinos no hablan muy bien tampoco jajajaj es una broma, un ejemplo: busca la palabra flyte o conversaciones chilenas, bueno adiós bendiciones aaaaa y no estas mal solo te falta algo mas de fluidez.

Hola, tu acento no esta nada mal para no ser latina, pero creo que aun puedes mejorarlo, creo que hablando el es pañol con otra persona podras perfeccionar tu acento. Y si quieres ir a algun pais latino te recomiendo republica dominicana, hay estan las mejores playas del mundo y gente muy amable
