Scams? toys "R" us FAIL -You be the judge!

http://dontbreakthestreak.com Today's Up in Your Face is directed at Toys R Us for putting out a coupon for 20% off (at Toys R Us) but says "Excludes ALL toys" in the small print on the back! What do you think? Is Toys R Us being fraudulent by offering a coupon like this? IS it bait and switch? Is it a scam or do you think it's OK and would make the average customer drive in to use it, only to find out it wasn't valid on anything purchased?!?! That's what happened today. Went into Toys R Us and Babies R Us in Salisbury because of this 20% off coupon we got in the mail. Needed diapers for Will the Pirate ( http://willthepirate.com ) and figured I'd get a new toy for him. I had a box of diapers and three small toys from totally different areas in the store. I couldn't use the coupon on ANY of the items I was purchasing! The only reason I went there was because of the 20% off coupon! EVERYONE has lower prices on diapers than Toys R Us (in my opinion) so the coupon got me in the door, but when I got to the register..... nothing! Leave a comment with your thoughts. Is it ok for a national company like Toys R Us to place ads in the public hand when a large percentage of people who try to use them find out the item they are purchasing is excluded? What are your thoughts?
