tulburator,sau dramatic de crude aceste versuri?
din pacate asta e destinul soldatului in genere, care fara voia lui de obicei este tarat in aceasta realitate cruda cum este razboiul.
sa pretuim libertatea ca pe un bun de pret si daca vom fi nevoiti sa o castigam sper sa avem mai multa sansa decat acest biet soldat !! sa ne traiti Poesis oriunde va ve-ti afla!!!!

@seledia Cu tot respectul, 'traducerea' e doar o adaptare si s-a pierdut definitiv muzicalitatea versului. Acesta este motivul pentru care nu m-am incumetat niciodata sa traduc poezie. Pentru asta, trebuie sa fii poet...:)

Rise his forehead to see the grass
A mislaid bullet is flying
And crush his front and jaw
Above, the empty sky and the sun,
Around, the plain squelched by bombs
In the ditch, the soldier dont have anymore
Neither eyes to see, neither lips

..How beautiful, how pure is it! And the world
How bad, how ugly, how old
There will be growing flags and flowers
All over the city rasped by bombs
..In the battle, they did all fight,
But the victory will belong to the ones who managed to stay alive
