Jehovah's Witnesses in Bulgaria attacked by protester

http://www.jwbrothers.org - Five Jehovah's Witnesses have been injured late Sunday night in a clash with activists of the nationalist VMRO party.

The incident happened in the Black Sea city of Burgas, in front of the Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall, where VMRO staged a protest rally.

The Jehovah's Witnesses are reported as light; furniture and equipment inside the Kingdom Hall have been damaged and broken.

10 people are under arrest -- all from VMRO, including the party's regional leader, Georgi Drakaliev, the Burgas police say. All are going to be questioned.

The protest rally against the Jehovah Witnesses was scheduled for 7 pm Sunday.

The VMRO announcement was addressed to the "Chernomorets" football team fen club -- "The Blue Sharks," the "Neftohimik" football team fen club, the Union "Patriot," and others.

Police are still investigating who were the exact participants in the brawl and who instigated it.

unfortuently this is not exclusive to jehovah's witnesses. If it was a sign of the last days that God's people would be persecuted, then any religion could say that, especially the jews. In fact, most religion in general could at one point say they've been protested against.

I've heard stories of the tribulations of witnesses back in the day...and it seems like people still have that ignorant mindframe and ill manner behavior. We are too in the last days.

Sadly this type of hatred and ignorance will increase as the system winds down. This awful event should be a lesson now's the time to "seek Jehovah... Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably YOU may be concealed in the day of Jehovah’s anger"
