@supereldinho Hellraiser doesn't have substance because Pinhead is too powerful? I don't follow your logic. Hellraiser isn't about how powerful the cenobites are, that's irrelevant. While Friday the 13th is a slasher flick that hinges on the body count and the creativity of the kills, Hellraiser (at least the first one) is more or less a horror drama that has some depth to it. It's not one big comic book death match like Freddy vs. Jason, so power levels don't matter.

Pinhead is an immortal demon, Jason is just a human with regenerative powers. Freddy is a ghost who can only hurt dreaming humans, he can't kill Jason in his dreams and I doubt Pinhead sleeps let alone dreams. Pinhead wins.
